Meet Our Team
Chiropractor Gannon Ward D.C.
Dr. Gannon Ward is a licensed chiropractor with the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors serving the Cochrane community.
Dr. Gannon Ward enjoys freeing people from pain, as well as helping them maintain a healthy spine clear of nervous system interference. As a Chiropractor with 7 years of experience, Dr. Ward is committed to promoting the health and well being of his patients.
Dr. Ward uses a "whole person approach." This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. As the owner of Soulstice Wellness Centre, Dr. Ward feels that Massage Therapy, Reflexology, Acupuncture, as well as some western medicine approaches are all great supplements along with chiropractic care in bringing overall health and wellness to his patients. Using this unique approach, Dr. Ward is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
In his spare time, Dr. Ward enjoys spending time with his three children and his wife. He is an avid golfer, Jeep enthusiast, and lover of the outdoors. He attended the University of Calgary for undergraduate school studying Physics and Human Biology, and obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon in 2008.

Gord McFarlane, RMT - Massage Therapist
Gord McFarlane is a registered Massage Therapist and Biomechanical Therapist, TPI and FMS Certified. He has training in myofascial, biomechanics, strength & conditioning, muscle re-patterning & re-education, visceral and cranial sacral therapies. Gord strives to improve his knowledge every day.
Gords goal as a therapist is to enable the opportunity for achieving success in your movements and function. His treatment philosophy is “Release (release the short tight tissue), Re-align (realign the body to proper alignment), Re-educate (re-educate inhibited muscles), Re-build (re-build stability and proper movement patterns)”, creating a balance of soft tissue tension and activity- specific conditioning and rehabilitation programs, to achieve a state of healthy bodily function and enhanced biomechanics. He looks at each case from a full body, multi system perspective. He commences with simple exercises and self-treatment techniques to keep clients progressing.
A key factor in his service’s success is working with the client fully clothed. This offers optimal privacy and enables the client to participate in the treatment more than you might in another massage setting.
Gord is a lifelong athlete who has competed in downhill skiing, mountain biking, road biking, adventure racing, Ironman's and distance running. Competing around the world in sports for more than 30 years has given Gord a unique appreciation of the human body in relation to performance sport, injury prevention and injury recovery. Gord wanted to give back to sport after it played such a huge roll in his life, from great success to painful injuries.
Gord is the chief product designer at Lifelong active body with a very simple philosophy, to create the most versatile, durable tools on the market.
